The Alumina Company has appointed Visionary Leader Megha Dutta as Head of Human Resources, strengthening its leadership team as the organization continues to advance its people strategy and workforce transformation initiatives.

In her new role, Megha will lead the company’s human resources function, focusing on talent management, leadership development, workforce planning, and employee engagement. She will also play a key role in driving HR digitization, strengthening organizational capabilities, and aligning people strategies with the company’s long-term business objectives.

Megha brings extensive HR leadership experience across diverse industries. Prior to joining The Alumina Company, she held key human resources roles at organizations including Budge Budge Refineries Ltd., Veedol, vivo West Bengal, Landis+Gyr, Kutchina, Medica Superspecialty Hospital Kolkata, ITC Limited, and Capgemini.

Throughout her career, she has led several strategic initiatives in succession planning, performance management frameworks, HR compliance, and learning and development programs aimed at building resilient and high-performing teams.
