Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) has appointed Visionary Leader Baoqing Miao, CFA, as Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, strengthening its leadership team as it accelerates global expansion in the clean energy sector.

Over the past four years, Baoqing has played a key role in several landmark and transformational transactions across power generation, transmission, and distribution while working with TAQA Group and Masdar. His contributions have supported Masdar’s growth into one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies, with more than 65 GW of installed capacity and an ambitious target of reaching 100 GW by 2030.

With exemplary expertise in infrastructure investment, energy sector transactions, corporate finance, and strategic acquisitions, Baoqing brings valuable experience to his new leadership role. He will be instrumental in driving Masdar’s mergers and acquisitions strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting the company’s long-term vision for sustainable energy development and global clean energy leadership.
