Lupin has appointed Ankit Aggarwal as Head – Global R&D IT, reinforcing the company’s focus on digital transformation, AI-driven scientific innovation, and next-generation research technology capabilities.

With nearly two decades of experience across scientific computing, enterprise R&D technology, digital transformation, and AI-powered research platforms, Ankit brings deep expertise in building scalable and future-ready innovation ecosystems for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. In his new role, he will focus on strengthening Lupin’s global R&D technology landscape, accelerating digital research transformation, and enabling advanced scientific collaboration and innovation capabilities.

Prior to joining Lupin, Ankit served at PI Industries Ltd, where he led Digital R&D transformation initiatives, autonomous lab programs, AI/ML-driven scientific innovation, and enterprise technology modernization for research operations. He also held multiple leadership positions at DuPont, driving enterprise collaboration, research technology solutions, and content management initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked with Satyam Computer Services Ltd on enterprise technology consulting projects.
