Chintan Desai has been appointed President – Asia Pacific Region at Zimmer Biomet, strengthening the company's leadership as it accelerates growth across one of the world's most important healthcare markets.
With nearly 30 years of leadership experience in the global medical technology industry, Chintan brings deep expertise in commercial leadership, sales, marketing, supply chain, digital health, and business transformation. Prior to joining Zimmer Biomet, he served at Alcon, most recently leading International Growth and Export Markets, after previously heading the company's Asia Pacific Surgical Business. Earlier, he spent more than 22 years at GE Healthcare, holding senior leadership roles across the United States, Singapore, and Australia.
In his new role, Chintan will lead Zimmer Biomet's Asia Pacific business, driving regional growth, commercial expansion, and strategic initiatives across the region.
