Shalini V. has been appointed Chief Operating Officer at Vanguard India, effective March 2026. Based in Hyderabad, she will lead strategic operations, global delivery frameworks, and infrastructure scaling for Vanguard India’s newly established Global Technology Center, supporting operational excellence for one of the world’s largest asset management firms.

Shalini brings over 25 years of leadership experience across global operations, procurement, and supply chain management. Prior to this appointment, she served as Managing Director at Barclays, where she spent nearly 16 years in multiple senior leadership roles. During her tenure, she managed large-scale operational programs, leading teams of over 300 professionals while driving global procurement, sourcing, and process excellence initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Shalini held key roles at Nokia Siemens Networks, Delphi, and GE Medical Systems, where she contributed to operational transformation and enterprise efficiency programs. She began her professional journey with Honda Cars India Ltd, gaining strong foundational expertise in lean operations and manufacturing excellence.
