AstraZeneca has appointed Karthik Jagadish as Global Executive Director – Enterprise Platforms, reinforcing its leadership in enterprise technology and digital transformation across global operations.

In this role, Karthik will lead the strategy, development, and modernization of enterprise platforms that support AstraZeneca’s global business, research, and digital innovation initiatives. His responsibilities will include strengthening scalable technology ecosystems, improving operational efficiency, and enabling data-driven capabilities across the organization.

Karthik brings exemplary experience in enterprise technology, intelligent automation, and advanced analytics. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, he served as Head of Global Intelligent Automation and Analytics at Bayer AG, where he led enterprise-wide automation and AI-driven analytics programs that enhanced productivity and streamlined business operations. He has also contributed to multiple large-scale digital transformation initiatives, helping organizations adopt advanced technology platforms to support growth and innovation.

With a strong background in enterprise platforms and automation, Kathik is expected to play a key role in accelerating AstraZeneca’s digital transformation agenda and strengthening its global technology capabilities.
