Nishant Verman has been appointed Senior Vice President at Flipkart, marking his return to the company where he previously led corporate development and strategic partnerships. In his new role, he is expected to support strategic growth initiatives, partnerships, and investment strategies as Flipkart continues to expand its e-commerce and digital ecosystem.

Prior to this appointment, Nishant was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BZAAR, where he built a cross-border marketplace for home, kitchen, and garden products, scaling the platform to approximately $4 million in revenue. He also serves as a Board Member at Tracxn and is an active angel investor supporting startups including Unbox Robotics, Scapia, Orange Health, Klub, and Vested Finance.

Earlier in his career, Nishant served as Vice President and Head of Corporate Development and Strategic Partnerships at Flipkart, where he played a key role in the company’s $18 billion majority investment by Walmart and led major fundraising initiatives with investors such as SoftBank, Tencent, eBay, and Microsoft. He has also held roles at Canaan Partners, Microsoft, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and IBM.
