Reliance Industries Limited has promoted Pooja Chhotray to the role of General Manager, recognizing her significant contributions to cybersecurity, governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives across the organization.

A seasoned cybersecurity professional with over nine years of experience, Pooja holds a B.Tech in Information Technology from ITER, SOA University, and an MBA from Bharathiar University. She began her career as an IT Security Analyst, gaining hands-on expertise in SIEM technologies, threat monitoring, data loss prevention, endpoint security, email security, and cyber incident management.

At Reliance Industries, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening cyber resilience through ISO 27001 benchmarking, internal audits, ITGC assessments, SWIFT infrastructure reviews, and continuous improvement programs. Her expertise also extends to data privacy and GDPR compliance, including privacy impact assessments, agreement reviews, and governance frameworks.

Known for her strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities, Pooja has been instrumental in enhancing cybersecurity posture and business continuity across Reliance’s diverse business operations.
