Bhaskar Patel has been appointed as Senior Vice President at Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, where he will lead the IP/MPLS Core and Access Network functions. Based at Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai, he will focus on architecting next-generation network infrastructure supporting Jio’s expanding 4G, 5G, and fixed broadband ecosystems.

Patel brings nearly three decades of experience in telecom network architecture and digital infrastructure development, positioning him among India’s seasoned technology leaders in large-scale telecom deployments.

Prior to joining Reliance Jio in this capacity, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Cisco India, where he provided strategic technology leadership for major digital transformation initiatives across enterprise and telecom sectors.

Earlier in his career, Patel held senior leadership roles at Vodafone Idea Limited and spent over a decade at Idea Cellular Ltd, where he led the Center of Design Excellence and contributed to shaping India’s mobile backhaul architecture. His early professional journey also includes key technical roles at Reliance Communications and Siemens Technology, working on mission-critical communication networks.
