Visionary Leader Daminda Kumara has taken on the role of Vice President – Global Air Logistics Semicon and Cloud Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, strengthening the company’s leadership in specialized global logistics solutions. In this position, he will oversee global air logistics operations for semiconductor and cloud infrastructure segments, focusing on operational excellence, strategic partnerships, and high-value supply chain solutions.

Kumara brings more than two decades of global air freight and logistics leadership experience, with strong expertise in P&L management, airline partnerships, operational transformation, and customer-centric logistics strategies. His extensive international exposure across the Americas, Middle East, Africa, and Asia positions him to drive innovation and efficiency in complex global logistics networks.

Prior to joining Kuehne+Nagel, Kumara held senior leadership roles at DB Schenker and DSV, where he managed large-scale air freight operations and strategic logistics initiatives.
