Sarvam AI has entered into a strategic partnership with SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. to deploy artificial intelligence across the insurer’s expansive distribution network, which serves over 8 crore customers and 3.5 lakh distributors nationwide. The rollout integrates Sarvam’s Samvaad conversational platform and Arya multi-agent orchestration system to transition AI from pilot stages into full-scale operational deployment.

The implementation includes voice-based policy servicing in 11 Indian languages, a multilingual Claim Bot, and an AI-powered co-pilot for agents. The system is engineered to process complex customer queries and verify documents across multiple Indian scripts, enhancing accessibility and operational efficiency.

According to Vivek Raghavan, the initiative aims to ensure that every SBI Life policyholder—irrespective of language or digital literacy—receives instant, culturally fluent AI-driven assistance. A nationwide rollout is targeted by August 2026.
