Polycab India Limited has appointed Pradipta Patro as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Vice President – Data Privacy, strengthening its cybersecurity framework and data governance capabilities.

In his new role, he will lead the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, focusing on securing both IT and operational technology (OT) environments. He will drive initiatives to enhance cyber resilience, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable secure digital transformation across the enterprise. Working closely with business and operations leaders, he will play a key role in aligning security priorities with organizational growth.

With over two decades of exemplary experience, Pradipta brings deep expertise in cybersecurity, IT platforms, and digital transformation. He has successfully led enterprise-wide security initiatives across global organizations, enabling resilience and sustainable growth.

Prior to joining Polycab, he held leadership roles at prominent organizations including RPG Group (KEC International), Adani Group, Tata AIA Life Insurance, ICICI Lombard, and FedEx Express India.
