Pankaj Gupta has taken on the role of Chief Digital Officer at Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, where he is spearheading enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives aligned with the bank’s long-term growth strategy. In this leadership position, he is focused on building scalable, analytics-led digital solutions aimed at reducing operational costs and risk, strengthening customer experience, and enabling sustainable profitability.

Gupta is driving transformation through structured frameworks such as CARE (Cost, Adoption, Risk, Experience) and PACE (Predict, Prioritise, Automate, Collaborate, Execute), delivering measurable outcomes across digital banking platforms, customer acquisition, and operational efficiency.

Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief Digital & Marketing Officer at Karnataka Bank. His earlier career includes senior leadership roles at Sify Technologies Limited, HCL Services Ltd, and Wipro, spanning banking, IT services, alliances, and infrastructure businesses.
