Microsoft has elevated Mohit Garg to Vice President of Engineering, AI Network Infrastructure, reinforcing its commitment to scaling advanced AI and cloud capabilities.

In this role, Mohit leads the AI Infrastructure Interconnect for Microsoft Azure, overseeing the development and operations of networking systems that power some of the world’s largest AI supercomputers. His work enables large-scale model training and inference for strategic partners and internal workloads, supporting the growing demand for high-performance AI infrastructure.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, Mohit began his career at Solidcore Systems and brings extensive experience in engineering and distributed systems. Over the years, he has played a critical role in advancing Azure’s AI networking capabilities.
