Google Cloud has appointed Kavita Chakravarthy as Head of Recruitment and India Talent Acquisition Leader, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its presence in one of its most important growth markets.

Based in Bengaluru, Kavita will lead talent acquisition initiatives for Google Cloud India, focusing on building high-performing teams that support innovation across artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data-driven technologies. Her appointment comes at a time when Google Cloud is accelerating efforts to help organizations transform through advanced digital and AI capabilities.

Kavita brings more than two decades of experience in talent acquisition and human resources leadership. Prior to joining Google, she served as Senior Director - Talent Acquisition at Zinnov and previously led talent acquisition for Atlassian India. Earlier in her career, she held key leadership positions at Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Yodlee, Adea Solutions, and JK Consultants.
