Dalmia Cements, part of the Dalmia Bharat Group, has announced the appointment of Visionary Leader Durairaj M as Chief Commercial Officer, marking a strategic move to strengthen its commercial and operational excellence. In this role, Durairaj will lead the organization’s commercial mandate, focusing on procurement strategy, contract governance, and supply chain efficiency to drive scalable business performance.

Durairaj brings extensive techno-commercial leadership experience from Vedanta Limited’s Aluminium Business, where he served as Chief Commercial Officer, and from Hindustan Zinc, where he played a key role in cost governance, procurement controls, and commercial transformation initiatives. His expertise in optimizing large-scale industrial operations and improving contract performance frameworks positions him well to deliver impactful results.

Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL) under Vedanta Limited, along with group-level commercial responsibilities at Vedanta Resources Limited, building deep domain expertise across complex industries.
