The state of Chhattisgarh has inaugurated its first-ever space centre at the Government Higher Secondary School in Nava Raipur, marking an important strategic milestone as it continues to strengthen its digital and technology capabilities. Under the \Project Antariksh Sangwari\ initiative, the facility will lead the space science education function, driving innovation initiatives, strengthening student-led satellite development platforms, and enabling scalable, secure, and future-ready operations aligned with national scientific objectives.
The launch reflects the government’s focus on leveraging technology as a key enabler of operational excellence, efficiency, and innovation. The centre will play a critical role in providing hands-on training in satellite construction and tracking, enhancing digital resilience, and supporting cross-functional educational teams with robust technology solutions across the enterprise to nurture future aerospace professionals.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, featuring India’s second astronaut, Shubhanshu Shukla. This journey positions the state to accelerate its digital journey.
