Praveen Mishra has taken on a new role as Head – Security Architecture at IDFC FIRST Bank, marking a significant step in his cybersecurity leadership journey. In this position, he will drive enterprise security architecture, strengthen cyber resilience, and align security frameworks with the bank’s evolving digital ecosystem.

Prior to this, Praveen served as Chief Information Security Officer at Liberty General Insurance, where he led organization-wide cybersecurity strategy and governance. He also spent over four years at YES BANK, holding senior roles including Vertical Head – IT Risk and Senior Vice President, where he managed IT risk, SOC operations, regulatory compliance, and board-level reporting.

Earlier in his career, Praveen held key positions at DXC Technology and HPE, building strong expertise in infrastructure security, risk assessment, and large-scale IT operations. With over two decades of exemplary experience, he brings deep domain knowledge in security controls, cloud security, and enterprise risk management.
