Amit Nanda has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of bigbasket, marking a significant leadership transition for one of India’s leading online grocery and digital commerce platforms.

With more than two decades of experience spanning e-commerce, consumer goods, retail, sales, and marketing, Amit brings a strong track record of driving business growth and customer-centric innovation. Before joining bigbasket, he spent nearly 12 years at Amazon, most recently serving as Director, Selling Partner Services, where he played a key role in strengthening Amazon India’s marketplace ecosystem and enhancing seller engagement. His professional journey also includes leadership roles at Citi India and Hindustan Unilever, where he gained extensive expertise in brand building, customer experience, sales strategy, and business transformation.

In his new role, Amit will lead bigbasket’s next phase of growth, focusing on accelerating innovation, enhancing customer experience, and expanding the company’s leadership in online grocery, quick commerce, and digital retail.
