Vedanta Limited has appointed Manoj Kumar Keshari as Chief Operating Officer – Cast Metal at Jharsuguda and COO – Alloy Business (Aluminium Sector), strengthening its operational leadership within the aluminium business.

In this role, Manoj will oversee operations across the cast metal and alloy business segments, focusing on driving operational excellence, enhancing production efficiency, and strengthening Vedanta’s aluminium manufacturing capabilities at scale.

Manoj brings more than two decades of experience across metals, mining, and industrial operations. He has been associated with Vedanta Limited’s Aluminium & Power Business for over 15 years, most recently serving as Associate Vice President and earlier as General Manager – Project & Operations.

Prior to joining Vedanta, he worked with Tata Steel in Jamshedpur and SMS Demag Pvt. Ltd. (now part of Siemens), gaining extensive experience in project execution, plant operations, and large-scale industrial manufacturing within the metals and aluminium sector.
