Sonpal Singh Hajari has been appointed as Vice President – Global Launch Integration at Agratas, a key player in advanced electric vehicle battery and energy storage solutions under the Tata Group.

In this role, he will lead the strategic planning and execution of global gigafactory launches across India and the UK, ensuring seamless transitions from greenfield development to high-volume manufacturing. His mandate focuses on operational excellence, scalability, and timely delivery of next-generation battery production capabilities.

With over two decades of experience in manufacturing and industrial operations, Sonpal most recently contributed at TDS Lithium-Ion Battery Gujarat Private Limited, where he successfully scaled a greenfield facility into stable mass production, delivering zero-defect battery systems since 2021.

He has also held leadership positions at Magna International, ArcelorMittal, and Larsen & Toubro Limited, building strong expertise in large-scale project execution and manufacturing excellence.
