Shashank ND, co-founder of Practo, has unveiled Cent, a new healthtech venture focused on shifting India’s healthcare model from treatment to early detection and prevention.

Cent is designed to identify potential health risks before symptoms appear, leveraging advanced diagnostics and AI-driven analysis. Its protocol screens for over 300 conditions in a single visit, integrating whole-body MRI, low-dose CT, DEXA, ECG, and more than 120 biomarkers to generate an organ-level risk profile. The platform focuses on four key areas—cancer, cardiac, neurological, and metabolic conditions.

Early data indicates that 26% of scans revealed clinically relevant findings, with critical conditions identified even among asymptomatic individuals.

Backed by seed funding and rapid growth, Cent plans expansion across major Indian cities, aiming to scale preventive healthcare and improve long-term population health outcomes.
