Industry Veteran Rishi Rane has been elevated to Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Cardiovascular & Interventional Solutions at GE HealthCare, marking a pivotal IT leadership move to accelerate AI-driven innovation and global engineering transformation. The appointment underscores the company’s focus on advancing digital transformation strategy across its cardiovascular portfolio.
In this role, Rishi Rane will spearhead global technology, innovation, and engineering strategy for the CVIS business unit, with a mandate to drive product innovation, enhance cost competitiveness, and scale engineering capabilities. The leader will also lead AI-enabled R&D initiatives to align technology platforms with evolving clinical and market demands.
With over 28 years of experience in healthcare technology, including more than two decades at GE HealthCare, the leader has held critical leadership roles across imaging systems, patient monitoring, and anesthesia care. The leader’s expertise spans platform modernization, software engineering, and new product introduction, positioning the organization for sustained innovation and growth.
