Hind Rectifiers Ltd has appointed Chidambaram Balakrishnan as Chief Global Growth Officer, reinforcing its strategic focus on international expansion and high-impact partnerships across key global markets. The appointment is aligned with the company’s vision to accelerate growth and strengthen its position in industrial and rail infrastructure segments.

Chidambaram brings extensive experience in global business development and infrastructure leadership. Most recently, Chidambaram served as Officer on Special Duty to the Chairman at Jindal Steel Ltd. Prior to that, he was Vice President – Business and Head of Railway Business at CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, where he managed a large-scale P&L, drove revenue growth, and led innovation in rail technologies.

He also co-founded High Tech Rail Infra as Managing Director and has held leadership roles at Caterpillar Rail and General Electric Company, building strong expertise in rail ecosystems and industrial transformation.
