Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited has appointed Darshan Chavan as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), reinforcing the firm’s focus on strengthening enterprise cybersecurity, risk governance, and digital resilience within its asset management operations.

In this role, Darshan will lead the organization’s information security strategy, cyber risk management framework, and regulatory compliance initiatives. He will be responsible for enhancing security architecture, protecting critical financial data, and ensuring robust cyber resilience as financial institutions accelerate their digital transformation journeys.

Darshan brings extensive experience in cybersecurity, information risk management, and IT governance across the banking and financial services sector. Prior to joining Canara Robeco Asset Management, he served as Information Security Officer at SBI Mutual Fund, where he led key initiatives related to cyber risk management, compliance, and enterprise security operations.

Earlier in his career, he held significant roles at Reliance Mutual Fund, Sify Technologies, and K. Raheja Universal, contributing to large-scale security implementation, infrastructure protection, and technology risk management initiatives.
