BharatGen will unveil Param2 17B, a 17-billion-parameter sovereign multilingual AI model, at the IndiaAI Impact Summit 2026. Developed using a Mixture of Experts architecture, the model supports 22 Indian languages and is designed for real-world deployment across public services and governance frameworks.

“These models are built for practical deployment across citizen services, finance, healthcare, and education, while strengthening India’s sovereign AI capabilities,” said Rishii Bal, CEO of BharatGen. The model will go live at the summit with open access for developers, startups, and researchers.

Backed by the IndiaAI Mission, BharatGen will showcase live use cases in governance, healthcare, education, and cultural preservation. The summit will also feature 11 other firms, including Sarvam AI, announcing foundational AI models for India.
